Paritutu Rock & the Sugar Loaf Islands. It's hard to appreciate the beauty and magnitude of the islands and Paritutu Rock in these pictures. It is very grand. The Dow Agrosciences plant is just across the road from here.
Sugar Loaf Islands
The remaining pictures are from what we have now called "our beach". This is the beach that is right off of our subdivision. We thought that it was pretty magnificent, but then we visited during low tide. The sand beach was amazing. We love just walking on the sand and exploring. 
Black Sand beaches. The sand is black from the volcanic ash. This makes the soil in Taranki very rich and therefore all of the beautiful vegetation and gardens.
