New goodies. A co-worker of mine graciously gave Ella and Owen kiwi gifts of a sheep pillow for Ella and a kiwi bird for Owen. Owen loves his kiwi bird, but will only pick it up by it's long beak!

Three Sisters - Taranaki
Every weekend we try to make an excursion to see more of New Zealand. Last weekend we ventured to Three Sisters which is about a one hour drive north of New Plymouth. It is a formation of three large oddly shaped rocks on the beach which can only be reached at low tide.

Ella's new Mongoose bike with trainers purchased off of Trade Me (NZ E-bay). Practicing in our driveway.

Owen's new Triang (New Zealand manufactured) trike purchased off of Trade Me (NZ E-bay)

Ella and I baked some cupcakes. Owen eats them like a snake. He sucks on them and slowly inhales them whole.

Stopping at a park to swing during a bike ride. See the sea in horizon on the background.

A stop along the coastal walkway. Notice Owen's comfy bike seat in the front of my bike.

Bridge on the Coastal Walkway aligns with Mount Taranaki in the background. Mt Taranaki is a dormant volcano. There was a cloud over the mountain on this day and the locals refer to the weather in terms of the mountain.
