Kiwi's don't traditionally celebrate Halloween, so we thought it would be great to have a Kid's Halloween party for Ella and Owen and their friends from school this year. We had 15 kids ages 2 - 7. Fortunately we had a beautiful spring day. The party was a hit! Josh rented an industrial sized smoke machine to smoke up the front entrance as guest arrived.

Owen attempts to pin the tail on the cat.

Ella and pals (Lexi, Quinnie, Kaelyn, Emma, and Maddie)

Owen and buddies (Zachary, Neha, Jax, Cohen, George, and Thomas)

Enjoying treats and the sun

Toilet paper mummys!

Ella was wrapped up with her good friend George. She and George sometimes hold hands at school - Josh isn't sure what to think of that...

This picture is priceless! All the kids were gathered around and I asked Owen to show the kids how to stick their mouths in the water and bob for apples. He was so pumped, but when he tried to do it, he was too nervous to put his face in the water. He stood up and he was so disappointed. See the precious look on his face!!!

Ella gets an apple

Owen didn't give up. He was determined to get an apple and tried for about 20 minutes after all of the other kids were done.

Then he proceeded to eat 6 apples...
We've got a great green space in our back yard, so after all the kids were high on sugar, we took them out back for races.
