Mom: "Ella, I have something really important to tell you. I love you so much."
Ella: "Uh, Mom.......that's not really important."
Ella says out of the blue while riding home in the car from work/school:
"Christchurch had an earthquake and Japan had a salami."
Ella was decorating Owen's scooter by pinning colorful clothes pins all over it, and says:
"Look Owen. Now it's all ready for the royal wedding."
I was in the middle of the most painful game of Chutes and Ladders with Ella and Owen tonight. Owen kept moving the game pieces all over and no one was listening. They are more interested in talking about the naughty or nice kids on the gameboard than playing. I was creating ways to cheat to make the game end sooner. I actually now hate Chutes and Ladders. In the middle of the game Ella exclaims,
"We should do this more often!"
Mom: "I love you."
Owen: "I love Mom!!"
