These pictures of Mount Taranki were taken from our yard. Note that the dormant volcano is over 20 miles away in these pictures. Ella informed us yesterday that before every meal and tea at school, they say a Maori verse. She says it in Maori and then in English which is:
"Thank you for this food. Thank you for our mountain. Thank you for the children."
