I'm Not Asking You......

We rented Ratatouille tonight. We were upstairs getting Owen ready for bed before going downstairs to watch the movie.

Ella: "Daddy, will you start my movie for me."
Daddy: "Sure, I'll be right down."
Ella: "I'm not asking you. I'm telling you, Daddy."

Josh and I start laughing. She wasn't trying to be smart - that's just something we say to her after we tell her to do something and she was trying it out. She got embarassed and then hid until Josh consoled her. And, of course, she responded in her saddest voice as she always does when we upset her,

"You hurt my feelings."
