Ella the crawling Queen. When she's wearing a dress, her legs get caught up in the skirt and she gets stuck.
Daddy is so proud that Ella can palm her ball in one hand.
Ella sometimes sticks her "plug" in sideways. It's all the same to her.
Her favorite place to practice standing and pulling herself up is against the couch in the living room. We moved the coffee table out of the room so that she wouldn't crash into it.

Ella chills in her stroller outside at our favorite Traverse City restaurant, Amical. When Ella gets sleepy, she plays with her ears. She rubs them as she's falling to sleep. We always know when she is getting tired because she starts feeling her ears.

Her suit is getting so small - we could barely get it on!
After swimming and a bath, Ella passes out on the hotel bed before we could even get her dressed.
Ella wakes up, but is not quite ready to get up yet.
Tonight we got home from vacation. Ella was exhaused, but didn't want to go to sleep. We let her cry it out for awhile in her crib. After about 10 minutes, Josh went to check on her and she had fallen asleep sitting up in her crib! He grabbed the camera and snapped these pics.
I think this is probably the sweetest thing that I have ever seen.
