This past week we rented a cabin in Door County, Wisconsin on Lake Michigan with Auntie Melissa, Uncle Matt, and cousins, Caleb, Meg, Sam, Jake, and Amanda. Grandpa Jim and Grandma Jackie also came over for most of the week. We had such a great time! The weather was perfect. We went hiking, biking, spent time on the beach, rented jet skis, golfed, had camp fires, ate family dinners, went shopping, visited area attractions, and just relaxed! Ella always loves getting lots of attention from everyone.
To cut down travel time, we took the S.S. Badger Ferry across Lake Michigan from MI to WI. The ship was huge and had movie & TV rooms, restaurants, a walking track, a kid's playroom, and much more. The 80-mile ride was 4-hours, but the time went very fast and was enjoyable.

We visited "The Farm" where a little "town" girl like Ella got to see goats, calves, kittens, chickens and other farm animals.
