We had a small birthday party at home with our family and Alana, a high school foreign exchange student from Australia staying with us while she completed her internship at Dow AgroSciences. We ordered pizza and had red velvet cake. On Owen's request, it was a sea creatures party. He received a Batman suit, a Lego airplane, and a new bike. From Alana he got some Koala and Kangaroo books and puppets. Owen hasn't taken the Batman suit off many days since he got it. We were so impressed at just 4 years old he hopped on his new bike and immediately was able to ride without training wheels!
