St. Joseph Cross Country Race 2012

This past Friday, August 31st, was the last day of winter and the St. Joseph Catholic school cross country race day.  Ella ran with the 5-year old girls and completed her first 1K!  I was so proud that she ran the whole way!  It was a beautiful sunny day and a very fun event.

Watching the other runners.  Note the chocolate all over her face.  She prepared for the race by downing a huge chocolate brownie for morning tea.  She was supposed to eat her healthy snacks for morning tea and save the brownie for after the race and after lunch.  When I got there for the race, the evidence was all over her face.
