In February, we took a road trip to Napier which is on the east coast of the North Island about a 5 hour drive from New Plymouth. We visited Cape Kidnappers, took in a winery tour, visited the National Aquarium of New Zealand, and enjoyed the local restaurants and scenery.
Gannet tractor pull tour - Cape Kidnappers
We rode in a trailer pulled by a tractor to reach the tip of Cape Kidnappers and view the largest gannet colong on the planet. The beach ride was awesome and so scenic!
