Grandpa Rod & Grandma Nancy Visit

Ella & Owen with Grandpa Rod and Grandma Nancy. They made took a whirlwind vacation at the end of August flying to Montreal, QC to see Annie and Brent and then stopping in Midland for a few days on their way home. It was great having visitors since they were our first visitors of the summer! We had beautiful weather while they were here and just had fun hanging out around our house and around Midland.

Walking through our neighborhood

We went to our first Loons (the Midland minor league baseball team) game. It was a beautiful night and we had a lot of fun. I let Ella eat a pound of M&M's and get a Lou E. Loon tatoo. Owen didn't make the game with his 6:30pm bedtime, so he stayed home sleeping with a sitter.

Grandpa Rod feeds Owen. Owen is like a baby bird. He will dive at you with his mouth open when he is ready to eat. When you put him in his high chair he will whine at you until you bring his food. The boy is starving!

We took a stroll through Dow Gardens. The vegetables were ready to harvest at the children's garden, so we picked some peppers, cucumbers, and pumkins and tried a variety of other veggies while we were there.
