Owen has become very dependent on his "blankies". He has two little soft blue blankies - one that I bought him in Chicago and this one that Great-Grandma Ruth made before he was born. It has gotten so bad that he won't sleep at daycare since he cannot have any type of blanket in his daycare crib. They let him fall asleep with it and then have to take it away. He inevitably wakes up, realizes his blankie is gone, and starts crying. He doesn't use a pacifier, but chews and sucks on his blankies in the same way. If you double click on this picture to see it larger, you can barely see the makings of a first tooth coming in.
