Trip to Montreal

Montreal or Bust!! This past week we drove from Midland, MI to Terrebonne, Quebec to visit Andrea and Brent. Including stops, it took us 12 hours to get there. We left Midland at 12:50pm last Friday. At 12:57pm Ella asked, "We almost to Annie's house?" The driving surprisingly went extremely well. The kids did awesome and we had such a fun trip. We toured downtown Montreal, the Olympic Center and Biodome, Mount Royal, and hung out at their home. Because Montreal is all French speaking, it felt like we were in Europe. It was challenging to get around, order food, etc. We spent a week at Annie and Brent's then left the following Friday. On the way home we split up the trip and stopped in Toronto for the night. We visited the Toronto zoo and two 5 hour treks were much easier than completing the trip in one day. Click here to view all of our pictures from the trip.

My Little Ponies! This was one of Ella's favorite parts of the trip. She got to play with Annie's My Little Ponies with Annie. I'm not sure who had more fun. They would comb the ponies hair and Andrea would tell Ella all of their names.

Ella loved the park in Annie & Brent's subdivision. We walked over there and played almost every day.

We toured the Olympic Center. The track complex is now an indoor Biodome.

Parc du Mont Royal. Andrea and Brent took us to Mount Royal which is a huge park in downtown Montreal. We ate a picnic lunch and then walked up to see a scenic view of the city and down by the lake. It was an awesome view of the city.

The Toronto Zoo. Ella had so much fun. We were there almost 3 hours and only saw about a third of the zoo.
