Owen is 10 weeks old. He is so adorable in these pictures. Notice the beautiful green blanket that Aunt Nicci crocheted for him. Also notice his resemblance to Ella at 10 weeks. This week we are going to concentrate on sleep training. I am especially inspired after reading Ella's 10-week old post and seeing that she was going to bed at 8pm and sleeping until 7am with only one night awakening. Owen on the other hand is not going to sleep unti 9 or 10pm and will only sleep in our arms until about midnight. Then he will only sleep if he is sleeping in the co-sleeper next to me. He will only nap if he is being held or rocked into a deep sleep and then layed in our bed or the swing. It's getting exhausting. Tonight is our first night of sleep training. It is off to a rocky start. I nursed him to sleep and then layed him in the crib in his room. We are letting him cry it out until he falls asleep on his own tonight. He has been crying on and off for 84 minutes with no end in sight. (Therefore, I have been crying on and off for 84 minutes as well). He is one stubborn boy. To top it off, Ella is whining her new mantra over and over again from her bed, "I no like naughty lions, Daddy". Which means she's scared of lions and doesn't want to go to sleep......... It's going to be a long evening.
