Kid's 1st Christmas Party

Last night was Ella's school Christmas party and program. We ate, watched the different classrooms perform, and finally got a visit by Santa.

Ella with good friends Boston and Matthew

The Young Toddler Turtle Room takes the stage for their performance. Ella did so good sitting on stage and looking out at the crowd (there were probably 100 people there). She didn't sing along, but shook her jingle bells and had a big smile on her face. She was so proud. After the Young Todders were done with their performance, she didn't want to leave the stage.

Dancing

Check out the look on Ella's face as Santa enters the room. She has been talking about him for weeks, but she is scared to death of him.

Notice the "2" fingers. When Santa and Mrs. Claus enter the room, Ella exclaims, "Two Santas! Two Santas!"

Santa and Mrs. Claus stand on stage and call each child up one by one to collect their gift. Check out Ella on the far left. She was very excited and was ready to go up for her present when they called her name. When Santa called, "Ella McNames" she freaked out. She folded to the floor kicking and screaming, "no! no!" and held onto Josh with a death grip. There was no way she was getting near Santa. When I asked her today if she sat on Santa's lap, she said, "no. just look at 'em".
