We spent last weekend in Auckland, New Zealand. Auckland is the biggest city in New Zealand and has 1.2 million of New Zealand's 4 million people. Auckland is located on the north side of the north island which is about a 4.5 hour drive from New Plymouth. We stayed at the Hilton downtown which had room balconies facing the harbor. Owen loved watching the big boats come in and a cruise ship even came in on Sunday! We had a wonderful weekend of shopping, eating good food, and visited the zoo and aquarium.
