Ella's First Halloween

Ella's first Halloween was a huge hit! She had such a wonderful time and was such a good girl. These pictures are adorable. Click on any one of them to see them bigger.
Josh calls Ella "monkey" so we thought it would be fitting that she dressed as a monkey this year. Here Daddy & Ella are getting ready to head out trick-or-treating. (I'm not sure who is more excited?)

We decorated our front door. Ella has enjoyed looking out at the pumpkins and lights every night and every morning over the past few weeks.

Wild Monkey. Ella returns from trick-or-treating. Josh took her down our entire block. She had a blast. She loved watching the other kids on the street.

I stayed back and handed out candy to the trick-or-treaters. We had over 200 kids this year (down from 297 last year). Our neighborhood is wild about Halloween!

After returning from trick-or-treating. Ella helped hand out candy. She stood by the window and watched for kids. There are so many trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood that we stand with our door open for most of the night.

Ella sits by the door waiting for kids.

Playing in the candy bowl was a lot of fun.

Ella took a late nap so she was able to stay up late (8pm). She was so exhausted that she passed out and slept all night without waking to be fed for the first time in months.
